ARNOLD, MO, March 28, 2011, Frank W. Moser, Chemistry Fellow and Analytical Scientist for Covidien, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in scientific research.

 

A 35-year veteran of his field, Mr. Moser holds the distinction of being the first and, so far, only chemist whose professional expertise has enabled him to attain chemistry fellow standing at Covidien without a postgraduate degree. Mr. Moser has built a reputation over the years for his ability to solve complex organic chemistry problems, having a seeming “sixth sense” that has resulted in millions of dollars in savings for Covidien, which is a global health care product manufacturing company. Especially noted for his thorough knowledge of analytical chemistry, Mr. Moser is charged with leading research teams and steering technology projects from research and development to quality control. He has been co-awarded eight U.S. patents in synthetic chemistry.

 

Mr. Moser received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1995 from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He is a member of the Chromatography Discussion Group, Mass Spectrometry Group, and American Chemical Society. Excited by his position at the forefront of science, Mr. Moser looks forward to continuing innovations for Covidien.
